THE VOTE on the NSW Government's electricity privatisation proposal has been delayed until September.

Premier Morris Iemma has called for a mini-budget, which will be handed down in 10 weeks, after he said projects in the State would now be put at risk.

The vote was delayed until September 23.

Has anyone looked at the wages payed to the bureaucrats in the Department of Environment and Climate Change lately? No wonder the State is broke.

There are so many layers of management in that place, all paid in excess of $100,000 that it's obscene.

I went to a 'senior mangers' of DECC meeting at the Masonic Hall in Sydney early last year where there must have been between 300 - 400 people.

They didn't spare any expense on the hospitality either - plenty of food and alcohol supplied.
